Mission Planner Connection Gets Stuck on STAT_RUNTIME

if all you get it the params above. then its is 100% a one way comms issue.
the cause is either cables/hardware or possibly mavlink2 signing.
MP sends packets to the drone every second, and on connect request every parameter.
If MP sends packets, but does not get params back, then it has to be a comm’s issue, as the autopilot is not receiving the request for information from the GCS

Dear Michael, thanks for your reply. So that means that the speed that I am getting is totally normal I guess?

I have installed ArduPlane v3.9.1 on an Omnibus Pro F4 v3 board and I am in the process of setting it up to install in a Bixler 3 with a GPS module. However, from what I have read in various forums, the SD card may not be supported so I won’t be able to collect log files and the OSD is not fully implemented, so I may not see the OSD information overlaid on the video stream.

Can anyone confirm if my understanding is currently accurate?

If my understanding is correct, is it known when these features might be available?

Are there any other features missing?

And, where should I look to find out what the current status of the Omnibus port is?

Copter losing alt even though i have lidar

Hi guys.
i have an s900 frame with a pixhawk flashed with arducopter 3.5.7. using the defaults pids it worked quite stable and i added a LidarLite v3 connected over i2c
i am getting the readings from it perfectly, but the issue i faced was like this.
using mission planner i armed the copter, and issues take off command, i set the height to 5 meters from mission planner.
then i gave it a point to go to, in guided mode. it went there holding the alt quite well,then i gave it another point to go to, it slowly descended from 5 meters to almost 1 meters for no apparent reason.

Does anyone have a clue on what could be happening? Thanks

at a guess, yes. click the link status link near the connect button, and it will display stats about the receive rate you are getting.

I am using only one compass, but it seems that the telemetry log shows both. Should it be like this. If ok no problem with me. Just a note.

Hi Alex, In case we change to TBS Crossfire 8/12CH Diversity Receiver what changes to make in the connection? Previously we used the telemetry cable to the smartport, but for the crossfire we do not need it right? Thanks

Great to see some more interest in sailing!

You will have to be on master to get the latest sailing stuff in any cace.

We don’t yet support direct movement of the mast, but it’s defiantly something we can look at adding. It would be more tricky than a main sheet system as it is much harder to de-power. Ie we cant just sheet out to stop, we will have to actively drive the wing to zero angle of attack, also it introduces the possibility of going backwards, weather on purpose or by mistake.

Have you considered a ‘elevator’ style control like on sail-drone? This allows the sail to trim itself to a given angle of attack. Again this is not yet supported in the code but I hope to add it. I think this style will also allow using the full wing as the wind vane and as its always pointed into the wind traditional airspeed sensors can be used. There is a disadvantage in downwind performance however as it can only ever be used as a lift based sail.

I found what was wrong with RC1 (roll),opened transmitter and found cables was touching gimbal and probably blocking and moving it. Found also cat hair :smile: Now is fine, and i recalibrate transmitter in Mission Planner. I will test fly today to see how is going now. rmackay9 thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have no direct experience with Crossfire sorry, I read the documentation and it looks like mavlink is only available as a way to feed the native CRSF protocol which is the only telemetry sent down the radio link, if this is the case then my script won’t work.

Hello,

normally we support the L298n controller ! I just didn’t had time to make the documentation. Nor finish the PWM_TYPE per output check…
But you should be able to get ride of the RPI soon !

Alright Marc, thought it is faster… I don’t understand why the M8Q ist faster than the M8N!
Now i have GPS+GALILEO+SBAS and no error message anymore. Going to check the GPA.Delta in the log file but it must be below 200msec now.

Seems to work fine, thanks to the developer,is it possible to have offline maps, like with droidlanner, i cant find the folder of the app on my phone?BTW, like with Tower, no RSSI.

Hi,

Same problem here on a just received unit. Upgraded to the 1.4.1fw (latest from the upgrade thingy) and activated compatibility mode, it overloads the pixhawk’s power supply (which can clearly be seen as the red led on the unit blinks a few time, then shuts off… so as the GPS’s led)
I do use the "select interface "mode though and it still does it which is not the exact same behaviout as @Anubis from what i can see… I need to try the ferrite option… but maybe it would be great to have this built in in next runs?

Hello All,

I am using a Here+ rtk gps and a Pixhawk 2.1 on my rover. The rtk gps seems to be working reasonably well. I was wondering if I can somehow set up the rtk gps to do some surveying and in particular staking out?
